Happy New Month of May, Sierraloadites!

The new month is here but the last 30 days in the month of April  has paved way for fresh sound in the Sierra Leone music scene. New songs are out to start dominating the playlist while particular songs have continued to hold sway on the music charts.

Entertainers and musicians have doubled down to create soundtracks to heat up the wave and thanks to this, we’ve had a sonically hotter year, with the airwaves taken captive by banger tracks after banger tracks.

To serve as a stamp of the times and give props as and at when due, Sierraloaded has racked up a list of the top songs released for the month of April 2022, scoring them based on the metrics gathered on Sierraloaded website i.e. view count, streaming numbers and downloads.

Sierra Leone-born singer Jacob Evangelista popularly known as The Therapist comes through with a brand new single titled “Nack“. The new record “Nack” is an impressive breakthrough single for the young talent, it is a great vibe and a danceable tune produced by Masterkraft. The singer puts in a creative effort to serve something different and the result is quite impressive. The tune is pretty catchy and one that would get you easily hooked. We recommend you add this to your music playlist.

8. Rozzy Sokota – Silence (984 Downloads)

The Sokota Vybe album is looking and sounding good already… I wanted the album to represent me as a person {rozzy sokota} if you know me I am a frisky but shy person but it all depends on the situation. SILENCE is a party vybe and brought out a different side of me and I like it😉…. DO U? Silence was produced by Kuami Eugene and it is a great song to put on replay on the regular. 6. Prezo Colabo – Big Boy Bo Ranger (1,407 Downloads)

Prezo Colabo dropped the most wanted song for one of the most successful football team in Sierra Leone which is non other than the Bo Rangers. This amazing song tagged “Big Boy Bo Rangers” plays the feelings of Prezo Colabo as he expresses love for the amazing Bo Rangers. B.B.B.R is a great traditional song worth checking out and it was well produced by the brother JoshhBeatz.

5. Atical 4yoh – 2023 Election (1,407 Downloads)

One Vision Entertainment presents another political song by the Mess Mess hit maker Atical 4yoh and this time he preaches about Sierra Leone next election which is to be in the year 2023. Afrobeat banger with traditional vybe is a well produced anthem every concerned Sierra Leonean should listen as it remind about voting wisely once again after 61 years.

 

4. Kao Denero – Leh Dem Talk (1,541 Downloads)

Black Leo Entertainment presents the official audio for “Leh Dem Talk” which is the first single to be released this year by Kao Denero and it was produced by Mic Junho. “Leh Dem Talk” is an afro-pop song in which Kao Denero sings and raps to the love of his life with bars to make haters jealous. This song is off the AMARA EP by Kao Denero and is recommended by all hip-hop lovers.

Titled “Heaven” is a great song that was produced by the legendary Wilbert and a great piece of project to enjoy on the regular. On this great project, Arkman does not know the people that will make it to heaven but knows the ones that will make it to heaven and those that are already there.

Mohamed Kamara popularly known as Mishad jumps on the most trending issue in town to give you the new trend called “Ye Dominion Ye”. According to Mishad, he was inspired by Tunexbeat to create Dominion beat after he watched Tunex’s short skit he posted “Ah dey continue for fly”. Mishad also went on to work on the beat to give what is now the new trending song “Ye Dominion Ye”. It is a short afrobeats tune to dance to as Dominion Christian University is been remembered. The short viral video was also made by Mishad.
