The newly appointed country representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to Sierra Leone, Fredrick Ampiah has formally presented his credentials to the Government of Sierra Leone through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Corporation.

The credential presentation signifies the official commencement of Ampiah duty tour in Sierra Leone.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs Timothy Kabba expressed a warm welcome to the new UNDP representative on behalf of the government and the people of Sierra Leone.

Kabba in his statement recognized UNDP’s role as one of the biggest partners in the development of Sierra Leone.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ampiah expressed his appreciation to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Timothy Kabba for the warm reception on his arrival.

He reiterated UNDP’s dedication to deepening its ties with the people of Sierra Leone, adding that their purpose is to enhance the partnership, serve Sierra Leone, and aid in tackling key development challenges.
