Dr. Richard Konteh, a prominent politician within the All People’s Congress (APC) party, has revealed that he has joined Dr. Samura Kamara, the APC’s Presidential Candidate, in London for a better Sierra Leone.

Konteh shared the news on his Facebook page upon arrival in London.

He stated that, “Today, I join Dr. Samura Kamara APC Party leader and Presidential candidates in London, UK. The journey towards a better Sierra Leone starts here!”

Dr. Konteh was a strong contender for the 2023 APC presidential flag bearer ticket but lost out to Dr. Samura Kamara in the party’s convention in Makeni.

Prior to this, he served as the chief of staff in the Koroma led APC government and was later moved from the ministry of trade and economic development during a cabinet reshuffle.

Upon their arrival in London, Dr. Kamara and Dr. Konteh were greeted by hundreds of Sierra Leoneans, including members of the APC party. This move is seen as a significant development for the APC party and a promising step towards a brighter future for Sierra Leone.
