The management of Bai Bureh Warriors Football Club has announced its intention to take legal action against Hassan Milla Sesay following the termination of his contract with the club.
According to the terms outlined in his contract, Hassan Milla Sesay is obligated to settle a financial penalty if he chooses to terminate the agreement.
The contract includes a clause that specifies if the club terminates his contract, he is entitled to three months’ salary as a mutual settlement. However, if he resigns or unilaterally terminates his contract, he is required to pay the club three times his signing fee.
Mr. Sesay’s signing fee with Bai Bureh Warriors FC was Le. 15,000. As a result, if he proceeds with the termination of his contract, he will be liable to pay the club a sum of Le. 45,000 as stipulated in the agreement.
The club has given Hassan Milla Sesay a period of 20 working days from the date he submits his termination letter to settle the payment. Failure to comply with this clause may result in legal action being pursued by the club to enforce the terms of the contract.
