The defending champions of the Sierra Leone Premier, Bo Rangers have been held to a nil-nil draw at home by Diamond Stars.

The two teams battle out to full 90 minutes but both failed to create clear cut chances.

The game was played with an increased tempo as the match edge towards the end.

A total of five players received bookings; three Diamond Stars players including Moses D. Kollie , Gibrilla Kamara, Rashid A. Kamara and Abu Bakar Barrie. Abu Bakar Kanu was also booked for Bo Rangers in the early minutes of the second-half.

Diamond Stars goalie, Kingston Kamara was named man of the match after denying their opponent several times.

The defending champions are still top of the league with 39 points after 17 games.

Mighty Blackpool are in second place with seven points less than Bo Rangers with a game in hand.

Sport analysts believe that the draw will motivate Blackpool as they go away to Freetonians SLIFA on Sunday afternoon.
