Allegations and blames have been cycling the web about the decision taken by the Bo Rangers Board of Directors on their former player Musa Noah Kamara, aka Musa Tombo. With regards to these undiluted and confused rumours flying around that have got football fans hanging in the air on Musa Tombo Saga, Bo Rangers FC Chairman, Babadi Kamara has issued statements debunking and clarifications made on this issue.

On a Facebook post by one social Justice Activist Karim Bah, he condemned the decision of the board taken on Musa as he asked series of questions that are yet to be answered.

“How can any long-term contract be terminated without notice? Are there no laws to protect the rights of employees like Musa Tombo?Immediate termination without a notice period? Has any disciplinary action been taken against him before?” were among the questions Mr. Bah asked.

In relation to these questions among other reactions from Sierra Leoneans home and abroad over the decision of the Board of Directors, Chairman Babadi Kamara threw light on key areas in relation to Musa.

Among the areas Babadi mentioned, he stated that when it comes to loving Musa, nobody has loved him more than he did over the past two years. His role to Musa had gone past being a chairman and Manager of Musa but to have served as family member.

“…I have being an elderly brother, father and mentor to Musa…” Babadi disclosed.

He continued that, it is obvious that many people are talking when they really don’t have a gist of knowledge about what has been going on between him and Musa. He disclosed that, he has invested in Musa Tombo more than anyone capacitating as Executive Chairman of Bo Rangers FC.

Babadi continued that, he had calls from different people who thought the club could have sold Musa to another club an recoup their investment instead of the decision of terminating his contract just like that. Babadi who for some reasons seemed tired of Musa behaviours said the Board prefers the decision they took than to allow Musa ruin their reputation built over the years.

When things happened in an unexpected way, sometimes it paves way for other talks on the floor. There have been allegations on Babadi in relation to Musa’s wife, Hawa Tombo. According to rumours, Babadi Kamara was interested in a love affair with Hawa and that he has been forcing himself on Hawa for a while now.

To this allegation, Babadi clashed this as the funniest and insulating of all the allegations. Babadi is a man that has built his reputation in Sierra Leone and the world. In Bo city and the Bo Rangers family, they know Babadi of his personality. He disclosed that he has never had any discussion with Hawa to that which is not in relation to Musa. To prove his words, he challenged Hawa Tombo to bring forth any evidence to the public of him (Babadi) ever talking to her on any issue other than that of Musa.

In the concluding part of Babadi’s statements, he thanked and appreciated Musa for his service in Bo Rangers FC and wised him the best a he takes his football career somewhere else.
