The Mighty Blackpool Captain and one of the finest players in the current Sierra Leone Premier League, Ron Gandy Williams has made a great donation of food items to the Milton Margai School of the Blind at Wilkinson Road in Freetown with the money awarded to him as Player Of The Month for December 2022.

He has been incredible on the pitch this season for Might Blackpool as well as having goals and great assists that have helped the team to maintain a very good stands in the table having 15 points in 7 matches structured in 5 wins, 2 draws and no loss.

According to reports, the player received a sum of NLe1,500 for the award which was used to purchase 50kg bag of rice, sachet water bundles, a gallon of oil and packets of sugar and salt.

In his statement, the player said, the donation was done as part of his sympathy he has for people.

‘’I just thought it out wisely that, I have won this award and instead of taking this money and do other things with it, let me do something that even God will accept, so after wise thought I decided to choose here as a first call,” he said.
