Coach John Keister Reveals Why Yayah Kallon is Not Part of Leone Stars Friendly Matches With South Africa And Congo DR
The Head Coach of the Senior National Team (Leone Stars), John Edward Keister has informed the press about Yayah Kallon’s absence from the Leone Stars squad ahead of the upcoming Friendly matches with the Bafana Bafana of South Africa and the Leopards of Congo.
As he updated the media in a press conference on technical preparations ahead of the country’s upcoming FIFA Friendly matches on the 24th and 27th of September respectively, Keister pointed out that they still got a situation around Yayah Kallon which he doesn’t like to talk about. However, the gaffer confirmed that “it is around documentation. So until that got sorted out, I think we just have to be patient and Just wait.”

He added that the forward is willing to play for Sierra Leone but again he has to go through documentation and we just have to wait for that.
Kallon recently signed for Italian Serie A Club Verona, and the prolific forward has netted one goal for his new side in the ongoing 2022/2023 season.
