The FC Kallon Female side over the weekend secured an impressive away victory against Albitaya Queens at the Kabala Field.a

FC Kallon Female defeated Albitaya Queens 5-2 in their first match in the second round of the first-ever Women’s Premier League.

Humu Koroma opened the deadlock for the visitors by converting a goal from the spot-kick, Lucy Kikeh double the advantage to 2-0 after also scoring a free kick, while Sarah Bangura scored the third to take the lead to 3-0 at half-time.

Sarah Bangura completed her brace early in the second half to make it 4-0, while a few minutes later Fatmata Conteh scored a consolation for Albitaya Queens.

However, FC Kallon Female quickly reply with another through Binta Bah’s goal to make it 5-1. They could not resist the attacking side of the host as winger Gbassay Kamara pulled back one to produce a 5-2 scoreline in the 90-minute proceedings.

FC Kallon Female has now secured four wins in the league, three draws, and five defeats in twelve matches played, they occupy the ninth position with (15) points and will travel to Makeni for their next encounter against Mena Queens FC, a side they defeated 6-1 win in the first round.
