The Leone Rock Premier League kicks off its second phase this weekend as the 2024/25 season continues.
Fans can expect a full schedule of matches across three days, with games set to be played in Freetown and other venues.
The matchweek begins on Friday, May 9, with two fixtures kicking off at 4:15 PM. Abacha City FC will go up against Bullom Stars FC at the Approved School Field, while Mighty Blackpool FC takes on Kamboi Eagles FC at the SLFA Academy in Kingtom.
On Saturday, May 10, action continues with Freetown City FC facing FC Kallon at the Approved School Field. At the same time, Old Edwardians FC will meet Bo Rangers FC at the SLFA Academy in Kingtom.
Sunday, May 11, brings two more matchups. Wilberforce Strikers FC will host Wusum Stars FC at the SLFA Academy in Kingtom, while Diamond Stars FC will play Stars Sports Academy at the Koidu Playing Field. Both matches are set for 4:15 PM.
Three games from this matchweek were scheduled to take place but have now been postponed. East End Lions were scheduled to play SLFA FC on Sunday at the Approved School Field. Also on Sunday, Ports Authority FC were to meet Luawa FC at the same venue. Bhantal FC’s match against Bai Bureh Warriors FC, originally planned for Monday, May 12, at the Approved School Field, has also been postponed.
This full slate of fixtures marks the start of a new chapter in the season as clubs return to the pitch with fresh focus and goals.
