Sierra Leone’s Women’s Premier League Champions, Mogbwemo Queens have safely returned from Liberia after their Participation in the just concluded Champions League Preliminary qualifiers.

Despite their failure to qualify in their CAF  Women’s Champions League debut, below is their Thank You Message to their Fans, SLFA, Bo Rangers Management, Female Football Club Stakeholders, Head of Female Football, Members of The Women’s Premier League Board, And All Football Enthusiasts In Sierra Leone.

We dreamt, we practiced, we competed, and we participated. On behalf of the entire management, we would like to say thank you to the officials, players, sponsors, and other stakeholders. Thank you for your courage, determination, and perseverance that helped you reach this stage.

In every season, there are high times and low times. I say thank you to the supporters for standing with the team in victory and defeat. You are our pride and joy.
To the President and Executive Committee of the Sierra Leone Football Association, the Management of Bo Rangers, Metro Cable (SL) Limited, Haja Ramatulie Kamara, and the Association of Senior Staff at Sierra Rutile Limited, I say thank you for your financial support.

To Foday Anthony, the Chairman of Kailahun District Football Association Chairman, Abu-Bakarr Mansaray (Abu-Mans) the Chairman of Kono District Football Association, Ibrahim Kuyateh, the Technical Director of Malema Female Football Club, Hassan Mansaray, the Head Coach Shooting Stars U20 female team, Abu-Bakarr Kamara Head of Media and Communications, Correctional Sport Club FC, Madam Emilia Jengo Member Women’s Premier League Board, Mahmoud Kargbo Team Manager, F.C. Again, to the players from the village team, I have never in my life worked with a group of women who, despite their individual challenges, have shown that nothing is impossible. You have shown respect, tenacity, and resilience, and most importantly, you have swum against the tide to reach this point. Thank you for fighting; your professionalism is admirable. You have demonstrated the essence of true sportsmanship. To say we are proud of you is an understatement. Well done, and thank you.
