As the Women’s Premier League 2022/2023 season continues to get intense over who stays in the league top position for three consecutive weeks without being knocked off the position by an ambitious team, Sierraloaded brings you Sierra Leone Women’s Premier League Goal Queen List.

The first time ever female Premier League in Sierra Leone has won the hearts of football loving fans and turned the odds down to negative thoughts since the start of the League in October.

The league has proven to be challenging for competitors and marked a scar in the hearts of Sierra Leoneans and the wider world over its successes since started.

On the league’s kick-off time in Wusum field Makeni, Matilda Vivian Kabba recorded her name on the history books being the first player to score a goal in the league, and FC Kallon Female winger Marie B. Konteh leading the goal tally with two goals during that week.

Notwithstanding Matilda’s name already inked in the history of female football in Sierra Leone, it has been a tough moment as she battles to beat the highest goal scorer of the league as at week 6, Kumba Zainab Brima from Kahunla Queens with overall 10 goals with the second, Matilda 7.

Tracing to adequate and trusted records of the league, 100 goals have been reported to have been scored in the league. These 100 goals were netted by 47 players of different clubs in 42 matches played.

Added to list of the scorers is a list of 36 payers who have sacrificed to let the team player to score the goal instead of her. Players assist play crucial role in the pitch as they most times do the dirty work and allow the teammate to do the finishing knowing that he/she stands not the chance to net the goal considering the position and situation.

With such brave and team spirit they posses, these were players we include to the list of overall scorers of the competition and who tops the chart as at week 6 of the league.
