The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has officially announced that the 2026 National Men’s Division One Playoffs will take place at the Port Loko Mini Stadium in Port Loko City from Wednesday, July 8 to Sunday, July 19, 2026.

According to a press release issued on Thursday, July 2, 2026, the competition will bring together participating clubs from across the country in a decisive playoff series that will determine promotion and relegation for the upcoming season.

To ensure proper organization of the tournament, the SLFA has directed all participating clubs to attend a mandatory pre-playoff meeting scheduled for Monday, July 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the SLFA Academy in Kingtom, Freetown.

The meeting is expected to cover key administrative and technical issues, including the verification of players’ licence cards, a review of the rules and regulations governing the playoffs, and the official release of the playoff fixtures and procedures.

All clubs have also been instructed to submit their players’ licence cards and complete player registration by Monday, July 6, 2026, which has been set as the final deadline. The SLFA emphasized that no late submissions will be accepted under any circumstances.

The Association further reminded stakeholders that at the end of the competition, two clubs will gain promotion to the 2026/27 Premier League, while four clubs will be relegated, maintaining a 16-team structure for the top-flight league.

The SLFA urged all participating clubs to comply fully with the guidelines to ensure a smooth, transparent, and credible playoff competition.
