The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) is set to introduce license programme for local agents in the country.
The Sierra Leone FA said the new programme is a move to professionalise players transfer within the local leagues’ system. They said the programme will be available for individuals wishing to to represent or serve as intermediaries for players in contract negotiations.
“With the new system in place, only licensed agents (FIFA/SLFA) are authorised to represent players within the country’s local leagues, and SLFA Agent License holders are qualified for local contract negotiations only,” the FA said.
SLFA encouraged members interested to sign-up by purchasing registration forms at FA’s Secretariat at Kingtom in Freetown. Forms are priced at NLe 100.
The FA admonished interested members of the public to contact SLFA Agent License Manager, Abu Bakarr Kamara.
