Sierra Leoneans, both at home and abroad, are urgently being asked to support Augustin Sheku Momoh, known as Augustine Sheku Marathon, in his time of need.
Sheku is currently facing a life-changing challenge after a devastating motor-cycle accident several months ago, which left him with serious injuries to one of his feet. As he fights to recover, Sheku cries for financial assistance to cover his medical expenses.
Currently receiving care at Connaught Hospital in Freetown, Sheku’s family is struggling to manage the financial burden. Despite the efforts of the Sierra Leone Athletics Association and fellow athletes who have been working to raise funds, they are still far from reaching the amount needed for his care.
Sheku has brought pride to Sierra Leone through his numerous marathon victories. Now, he is in urgent need of help.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will help with Sheku’s recovery.
