The Sierra Leone U-17 team, Sierra Stars have departed Bo for Liberia for a training tour and two friendly games with their Morocco and Liberia counterparts. The team will be based in Monrovia for six days where they will engage their counterparts in two separate friendly matches.

The coach of the side, Mohamed Lamin Kamara will use these matches to prepare players who are legible to play for the U-17 this year.

The U17/ side Sierra Stars will take on their Moroccan counterparts twice during a week-long international friendly at the stadium at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium on the 5th and 8th of June, respectively

It is also refreshing to note mention that the entire 22 players selected reflect the five regions of the country to give the team a National face to prepare them ahead for the WAFU B U-17 CAF Qualifying Series.

This is the second trip for the Sierra Stars since their last year’s adventure in Liberia.
