The Government of Sierra Leone through the Ministry of Employment, Labour and Social Security in a public notice has requested institutions and companies to submit list of every foreign employees.
According to the public notice, effective 17th February 2025, a comprehensive list of staff, their designation, qualifications, and period of engagement with respect to their job in the country.
The above-mentioned requirement is in line with the section 11 and 13 of the Work Permit Act 2023, Act No.11 of 2023.
It is stated that this directive will provide data which will enable the Ministry to make informed decisions.

Institutions and companies are asked to address the permanent secretary at the Ministry of Employment, Labour and Social Security while making their submissions.
