The Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) has appointed Ambassador Mohamed Yangawo as the chairman of the Independent Elections Monitoring and Oversight Committee (IEMOC).
The purpose of his appointment is to oversee the conduct of the elections of the party’s National Officers at the National Delegates Conference on the 30th and 31st of July 2025.
The party called on its members to address all issues related to the conduct of the national officers’ elections.
