A major blow has been dealt to the local drug trade as the Lunsar Police Division arrested Hassan Koroma, widely known as “Sky,” a suspected notorious drug dealer from Madigbo Junction, Marampa Chiefdom.
The arrest followed a well-coordinated police raid targeting key hotspots in the township known for illegal drug activity. During the operation, officers reportedly discovered substances believed to be narcotics, including Kush, in the possession of the suspect.
Authorities say Hassan Koroma is now in custody and is assisting investigators as part of ongoing efforts to dismantle drug networks operating within Lunsar.

The Lunsar Police Division has reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining law and order, emphasizing that operations against drug trafficking and abuse will continue unabated. “We remain vigilant and determined to rid our communities of harmful drugs,” a police spokesperson said.
Residents have welcomed the arrest, describing it as a significant step toward ensuring safety and curbing the growing influence of illegal drugs in the area.

Police are urging anyone with information about drug activities to come forward, as investigations into the networks linked to “Sky” continue.
