Minister of Youth Affairs Ibrahim Sannoh has arrived at the PMTC Ground to witness the 8th passing-out ceremony of the National Youth Service (NYS), a program designed to harness the energy, skills, and creativity of Sierra Leonean youth for national development.
The National Youth Service, established to promote civic engagement, leadership, and community service among young people, provides participants with practical skills, national exposure, and opportunities to contribute to public initiatives across Sierra Leone. Since its inception, the program has been instrumental in cultivating youth leadership and fostering a sense of civic responsibility.

During the ceremony, Minister Sannoh is expected to deliver a keynote message emphasizing the role of youth in driving Sierra Leone’s transformation, highlighting the importance of leadership, active participation in governance, and engagement in initiatives that promote social and economic development.
The passing-out ceremony marks a significant milestone for the graduates, who will now transition from the training phase to active involvement in national projects, community service, and initiatives aimed at strengthening the country’s development agenda.

The National Youth Service continues to serve as a platform for empowering Sierra Leonean youth, encouraging them to become agents of positive change, and contributing to the nation’s long-term growth and stability.
