The former President of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) and current CEO and founder of Football for Reforms and Fashion for Change, Isha Johansen, paid a visit to female inmates at the Female Correctional Centre in Freetown on Monday, 8 March 2026.
During the visit, Johansen engaged with the inmates, motivating them to remain hopeful and focus on building a brighter future.
She described the visit as part of her ongoing support for the correctional centre over the years, noting that this year’s engagement was particularly special as it coincided with International Women’s Day, a day dedicated globally to celebrating women.
Johansen emphasized that their current circumstances do not define their future, urging the inmates to remain resilient and work towards becoming better individuals after completing their sentences.
