The Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL) has formally invited the leadership of the All Peoples Congress (APC) for a strategic meeting aimed at fostering dialogue and collaboration ahead of the 2028 General Elections.
In an official letter addressed to the APC Chairman and dated 16th March 2026, the newly appointed Chief Electoral Commissioner, Chairman, and National Returning Officer of the ECSL outlined his commitment to fairness, professionalism, and inclusivity in electoral management.
The ECSL Chairman emphasized that the purpose of the engagement is to share his vision for the Commission, provide updates on ongoing activities, and discuss the strategic roadmap for the upcoming elections. The letter invites the APC leadership to visit the Commission’s head office at a mutually convenient date between Monday, 23rd March and Friday, 10th April 2026.
“This engagement underscores the Commission’s commitment to consultative dialogue with all registered political parties, ensuring transparency and collaboration in preparation for the 2028 elections,” the letter stated.
The ECSL Chairman assured political stakeholders of his dedication to serving all parties and the people of Sierra Leone with impartiality and professionalism.
