The National Sports Authority (NSA), in partnership with the Ministry of Sports, has officially launched preparations for the highly anticipated 2026 Inter-MDA Sports Competition, scheduled to take place from October to December later this year.

The NSA extended a formal invitation to all government Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) across the country to declare their participation.

The initial phase of the tournament will focus on two major sports disciplines: Men’s Football and Women’s Volleyball.

Interested MDAs have until 5:00 PM on Friday, June 19, 2026, to submit their formal Expressions of Interest (EOI).

To ensure strict institutional commitment, organizers noted that all submission letters must be officially signed by high-ranking leadership, specifically a Minister, Deputy Minister, Permanent Secretary, or Vote Controller.

The NSA has outlined a dual-submission process, requiring agencies to provide both digital and physical copies of their application.

All entries should be formally addressed to the Deputy Director of the Institute of Sports–NSA. Agencies requiring further clarification or information regarding the registration process can contact the organizing committee directly at +23276-623-412 or +23278-657-571.

The civil service tournament is expected to foster fitness, Unity, and healthy rivalry among government workers when the league kicks off this October.
