A wedding ceremony reportedly came to an abrupt end in the Wellington area of Freetown on Sunday after police intervened and arrested several individuals connected to the event over allegations that the bride was under the legal age for marriage.

According to reports, the bride is said to be 16 years old, prompting law enforcement authorities to take swift action after receiving information about the planned union.
