Thirty-six-year-old musician, Adolphus Nathaniel Sesay, has been remanded at the Male Correctional Centre in Freetown by Magistrate John Manso Fornah of Pademba Road Court No. 2 on charges of House Breaking and Larceny, contrary to Section 26(1) of the Larceny Act of 1916.

According to the particulars of offence, on 21st May 2026, at No. 9 Thompson Bay, off Wilkinson Road in the Western Area of Freetown, the accused allegedly broke and entered the dwelling house of Arnold Kamara with intent to steal.

He is further accused of stealing one electric iron, one water heater, and a mercury machine, all valued at Le29,850, property of Arnold Kamara.

When the charge was read and explained to him, the defendant pleaded not guilty.

Leading evidence for the prosecution, Deputy Superintendent of Police Sorie Conteh informed the court that he had served the defendant with a copy of his statement and applied for a subpoena to be issued and served on the absent complainant.

The defendant, who was not legally represented, admitted receipt of the statement.

Meanwhile, Magistrate Fornah refused bail and remanded the accused to the Male Correctional Centre in Freetown.
