Reality TV star and model Lolo Simeon has provided an update on ongoing court proceedings involving her and King’s Empire, as the matter came up before Justice Adrian Fisher at the High Court of Sierra Leone.

The hearing focused on an application filed by Ms Simeon’s legal team, led by Lawyer Sulaiman Borbor Kabba, requesting that the case be transferred from the Fast Track Commercial Court to the General Civil Division of the High Court. According to the application, the issues raised in the matter fall more appropriately within the jurisdiction of the General Civil Division.

During the proceedings, the defendants, King’s Empire and Mr Valentine M. King, were not represented in court, as their counsel, Lawyer Saquee, failed to appear to defend their opposition to the transfer request.

In light of the absence of the defence, Justice Fisher adjourned the matter to Wednesday, 8th July 2026 at 2:00 PM.

Counsel for Ms Simeon reiterated that the case contains substantial civil elements, maintaining that the General Civil Division remains the proper forum for adjudication.

The matter is still ongoing, with a ruling on the transfer application expected soon. Ms Simeon’s legal team is awaiting the court’s decision to determine the next phase of the proceedings.
