The Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority (SLCAA) has reminded all international passengers travelling to and from Freetown International Airport that completion of the Sierra Leone Health Declaration and Travel Information Form remains a mandatory requirement.

In a public notice issued by the Authority, passengers were advised to complete the online Health Declaration between 24 and 72 hours before their scheduled departure or arrival in Sierra Leone to ensure a smooth and efficient travel process.

According to the SLCAA, the declaration is part of the country’s public health measures aimed at supporting safe, secure, and efficient international air travel while facilitating the processing of passengers at the airport.

The Authority cautioned that travellers who fail to complete the Health Declaration before arriving at the airport may experience unnecessary delays during check-in, departure, or arrival procedures.

Passengers are required to complete the mandatory Health Declaration and Travel Information Form through the official online portal before travelling. Complete your health Declaration at: https//poep.npha.gov.sl

The SLCAA reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining safe and efficient air transport operations and expressed appreciation to passengers and stakeholders for their continued cooperation in supporting Sierra Leone’s public health measures.
