Orange Sierra Leone Chief Executive Officer Aïcha Touré has engaged customers, sales partners, local authorities and communities across the country as part of a five-day nationwide listening tour aimed at strengthening stakeholder relations and improving service delivery.
The tour, conducted from July 27 to 31, 2026, covered Port Loko, Western Area Urban and Rural, Makeni, Kono, Kenema and Bo, where Touré, accompanied by members of senior management, held direct engagements with customers, business partners, community members and local authorities.
The engagements provided the Orange Sierra Leone leadership with firsthand insight into the experiences, concerns, needs and expectations of customers and communities outside Freetown.

Discussions centred on service delivery, network experience, customer needs, business opportunities and Orange Sierra Leone’s contribution to communities.
Touré acknowledged concerns raised by customers and said management was committed to carefully reviewing the feedback and identifying practical and sustainable ways to address issues affecting customer experience.
“Meeting our customers, partners, and local leaders face to face allows us to better understand their realities and expectations. Listening, learning, and identifying opportunities for improvement provide the kind of insights that lead to better business decisions and stronger relationships,” she said.

As part of the company’s efforts to strengthen its regional operations, Orange Sierra Leone provided additional mobility support to its trade teams, including kekehs, motorbikes and a Hilux vehicle.
The company said the support is intended to improve the mobility and operational efficiency of its field teams, enabling them to reach customers and sales partners more effectively while strengthening its presence across the regions.
Touré also visited local markets during the tour, where she interacted with traders, customers and members of the public in their everyday business environments. The visits allowed her to hear directly from customers and gain a deeper understanding of their expectations regarding Orange Sierra Leone’s products and services.

The CEO and her delegation distributed Orange-branded items during the market engagements, creating opportunities for informal interaction with customers and members of the public.
The delegation also paid courtesy visits to provincial authorities and other key stakeholders. Mayors and local leaders welcomed Touré and congratulated her on her appointment as Chief Executive Officer, while commending Orange Sierra Leone for maintaining engagement with communities across the country.
Local authorities raised several priorities, including the need for continued investment in Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives within their municipalities.

Mayors in Port Loko, Makeni and Bo also encouraged Orange Sierra Leone to explore opportunities to support city beautification initiatives, which they said could contribute to improving the appearance of the cities and supporting community development.
Responding to the concerns and proposals, Touré assured stakeholders that management would review the feedback received and consider practical interventions within the company’s priorities and available resources.
“Orange is in Sierra Leone to connect people in every corner of the country and improve lives through reliable connectivity and innovative digital services. We remain committed to working closely with our partners and communities to address challenges, strengthen our network, and continue delivering the quality of service our customers expect,” she said.

The nationwide listening tour forms part of Orange Sierra Leone’s broader efforts to strengthen customer relationships, empower field teams and deepen partnerships with local authorities and communities.
The company said the direct engagements will help inform its priorities for improving responsiveness, strengthening service delivery, supporting field operations and contributing to Sierra Leone’s digital transformation.
