The Western Area Rural District Council (WARDC) has announced the recruitment of 50 Metropolitan Officers.

In a vacancy announcement issued on 14 August 2026, the Council invited applications from suitably qualified candidates for the positions.

Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years of age and hold a minimum of WASSEC qualification. Candidates are also required to submit a valid police clearance certificate, evidence of current Local Tax paid to WARDC, and two recommendation letters from recognised community stakeholders.

Interested applicants should address their application letters together with all required supporting documents to the Chief Administrator and submit them to the Human Resources Officer at the Western Area Rural District Council.

The deadline for submission is Monday, 7 September 2026. The Council warned that incomplete applications or those received after the deadline may not be considered.
