Fayia Junior Moseray

I am a young, vibrant and results-oriented professional journalist with over four (4) years practicing knowledge as a 'Print Journalist'. My passion for the media is what that has brought this far in the media landscape. I started my journalism career way-back in 2015/2016 when I was in Final Honors One (Year III) reading for my first degree in Linguistics at Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone (USL). Upon graduation in 2017, I ventured into the teaching field for over a year and some months. my love and goal of becoming a professional journalist cascaded me back into the media field leaving the classroom where I was working as an English Language teacher at the Freetown Secondary School for Girls (FSSG) (one of the best female schools in the country). I commenced reporting with PEAK Newspaper as a 'volunteer reporter'. Later on, I moved to the Initiatives for Media Development (IMdev) as an 'Investigative journalist' - a role I served in for half a year, and proceeded to Sierra Leone News Agency (SLENA) as a 'Correspondent' in the Ministry of Mines, Minerals & Marine Resources (MMMR). I served in this role for quite a while coupled with the various media trainings I went through from different media organizations within and outside Sierra Leone. As at the time of updating this bio, I am working as a 'Content Executive' for Sierraloaded - the first-ever online news network in the country.
