The All People’s Congress-New Jersey (APC-NJ) Chapter is set to elect a new president and executive this Saturday 7th January 2023.
The delegates convention will take place at the Citizens Club of Franklin, Fuller Street, Somerset in New Jersey.
The new president will replace Alimamy Turay who was elected six years ago. Turay is said to be competing for a higher position -the Secretary General of APC-USA.
Ibrahim Coulson Mansaray, Turay’s deputy, is vying for the top job.

The Deputy Elections Commissioner, Agibu Tejan-Jalloh told veteran journalist Leeroy Kabs-Kanu that a total of 16 positions will be contested for.
Some of the positions that will be contested for are Chairman/President, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Assistant Secretary and Public Relations Officer among others.
Top members of the ruling Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) and the National Grand Coalition (NGC) will be in attendance on Saturday.
