A Sierra Leonean woman based in Gambia has been accused of defrauding multiple Gambian men through a sex scam.

According to What’s On Gambia – the woman typically demands a $1,000 upfront payment, claiming it’s for pre-sexual encounter preparations. She allegedly sends photos to the victims to build trust before requesting additional funds.

Once the full amount is received, the woman reportedly disappears, blocking the victims on communication platforms.

One victim recounted his ordeal, stating, “She promised to spend the whole night with me for D2500. After receiving the money on Wave, she blocked me.” Frustrated by the repeated incidents, a group of victims has filed a complaint with the Senegambia Police, seeking both the woman’s arrest and financial restitution.

The suspect is described as having no fixed address, although she is often linked to the Kanifing area. The alleged WhatsApp numbers used for the scam are 2595258 and 760 3978.

The Senegambia Police are currently investigating the matter.
