Alhaji Musa Timothy Kabba, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has officially commissioned Sierra Leone’s new embassy in Doha, Qatar, in expanding the country’s global diplomatic presence.

This is a significant step in President Julius Maada Bio’s overall objective of expanding Sierra Leone’s international presence and strengthening strategic ties.

Minister Timothy Kabba noted the importance of this achievement, stating that the new embassy will act as an environment for more collaboration between the Republic of Sierra Leone and Qatar in various key areas.



“This embassy will further expand our bilateral agenda with Qatar, fostering deeper cooperation in key sectors such as tourism, agriculture, construction, and fisheries.” He said.

The embassy’s opening is part of Sierra Leone’s continuous diplomatic efforts to expand and strengthen alliances around the world, which will help the country’s growth initiatives.
