A new ranking released by global education platform Schoolbell.net has named Choithram International School Freetown as the number one private school in Sierra Leone for 2026.

The annual list, which ranks institutions based on a “Contextual Reputation Score,” evaluates schools on their online credibility, digital presence, and reputation signals relative to their peers.

Choithram International School secured the top spot with a perfect Contextual Reputation Score of 100.0.

Close behind in second place was The British International School and Montessori Education with a score of 99.7, followed by the American International School of Freetown in third place with 98.9.

The list was compiled by Schoolbell, a Singapore-based education analytics platform founded in 2021. The platform uses public data and proprietary metrics to benchmark education providers globally.

According to the report, the “Contextual Reputation Score” used for this ranking estimates a school’s standing among similar providers based on online signals, rather than just academic test scores alone. The goal is to help parents make clear, fast, and simple choices when selecting schools.
