In a publication on Satellite Newspaper, the Eastern Technical University barred examination malpractice students from going into the final examination for 2023/2024 academic year.
The University made an announcement earlier of the rustication of eighteen (18) students for one academic year due to examination malpractices.
The students, listed in a public notice issued by the university’s registry, were found to have engaged in various offenses during exams.
The release showed Their names, ID Numbers, Programs and Years of study are detailed in the notice.
The rusticated students come from B.Sc. Economics, B.Ed. (various specializations), B.Sc. Business Administration, H.T.C. Agricultural Sciences, B.Sc. Nutrition and Dietetics.
Exam malpractice has been recorded in many of the universities across the country and it has become increasingly common to many students.
