In response to growing concerns regarding pupils unable to register for the upcoming West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), the Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE) has emphasized that many school authorities failed to meet essential registration requirements.

The ministry clarified that the responsibility for the registration issues lies with the school authorities, who did not submit continuous assessment scores on time. This oversight has led to frustrations among students anticipating the examination.

MBSSE acknowledged the difficulties faced by pupils and reiterated its commitment to ensuring a smooth registration process. The ministry encourages all schools to adhere to established guidelines to prevent similar disruptions in the future.

As the examination date approaches, the ministry is focused on resolving these issues to facilitate a fair opportunity for all students.
