The Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE) has announced the reopening of the registration portal for the 2024 Private West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
Candidates verified by the Ministry and provided with PINs and serial numbers are now advised to proceed with their online registration.
The portal will remain open until 19th September 2024 at midnight, and the Ministry has emphasized the importance of completing the registration process before the deadline. School administrators, parents, and eligible candidates are urged to ensure that all required entries are uploaded within the given timeframe.
To facilitate a smooth registration process, Ministry officials have been stationed at registration centers across the country. These officials will assist schools and candidates in addressing any difficulties they encounter during the upload of entries. School heads have been encouraged to promptly report any challenges to the designated officials for quick resolution.
In addition, the Ministry has called upon the Sierra Leone Teachers Union (SLTU) and the Council of Principals of Secondary Schools (CPSS) to actively support the registration process. The MBSSE reiterated its commitment to ensuring a successful registration period and requested full cooperation from all schools involved.
This marks the final opportunity for schools and candidates to complete their WASSCE registration, and the Ministry has urged all parties to act promptly to avoid missing out on this crucial academic milestone.
