The results of the National Primary School Examination (NPSE) 2023 in Sierra Leone are expected to be released in the second week of July according to the Minister for Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE), David Moinina Sengeh.

Sengeh announced on Monday, June 26 that the results will be published as scheduled in two weeks.

On May 6, 2023, a total of 163,894 candidates from 4,790 schools took the exams at 567 centers across the country.

The NPSE is a significant examination that serves as a transition from primary school to the Junior Secondary School (JSS) sector within the education system of Sierra Leone. The education structure in Sierra Leone comprises Pre-Primary school (Nursery), Primary, Junior Secondary (JSS), and Senior Secondary (SSS) levels.

Once the results are released, there will be a delay at the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education before they reach the respective schools. However, candidates can check their results online or by using the MBSSE SMS result checker.
