The University of Sierra Leone has in a press release called on applicants to visit their online portal to apply for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Courses tenable at Fourah Bay College (FBC), Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM) and College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences (COMAHS) for the 2023/2024 Academic Year.

The portal is to be accessible to applicants on Tuesday 20th June 2023. According to USL, it also makes provision for application into the University’s e-learning Master’s programs in Business Administration, Journalism & Media Studies, Communication & Development Studies, and Public Relations & Marketing Communication.

Prospective applicants can now obtain application PINS at the Sierra Leone Commercial Bank, Commerce and Mortgage Bank PLB (CMB), Rokel Commercial Bank and Union Trust Bank in Freetown or any of their branches in the regions at the cost of Le NLe400.00 for Undergraduate and Le NLe500.00 for Postgraduate Courses.

The University of Sierra Leone recognized examination bodies for admissions:

  1. GCE ‘O’ Level by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC)
  2. GCSEs Advanced Subsidiary level by Pearson Edexcel
  3. GCE Advanced level (‘A’ Level)
  4. West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)
  5. IGCSE (Admitted at Diploma Level)

Diploma and Certificate courses at the University of Sierra Leone are terminal programs. Applicants from diploma and certificate programs who wish to apply for degree programs must fulfill the University’s minimum entry requirements
