The Committee of the Fifty Most Influential Sierra Leonean Women Awards has released the final list for its 6th edition awarding ceremony.

The Committee which initially featured 100 women across Sierra Leone earlier this year, has now published the names of fifty Sierra Leonean women as the finalists.

The award is an initiative of Sierra Leonean youths and women-led organizations featuring women from all walks of life across the country.

The award is an accolade for exemplary women in Sierra Leone who are contributing toward community and national development.

This year’s award ceremony will be hosted at the Freetown City Hall with Paramount Chiefs honoring award recipients for the first time and a special prayer will be organized for one of the award recipients Henrietta Mbawah who passed away after being nominated.
