Sierra Leone’s veteran Entertainer, Dramatist and storyteller, Dennis Nelson Streeter, has passed away.

He died in his native land, Freetown, Sierra Leone on Wednesday, March 27th 2024.

Streeter was a talented visionary storyteller and one of the few who was fighting to keep the culture of storytelling in Sierra Leone. He is known for famous movies like Aminata (2008), The Next President (2013) and Guardian of the Throne (2014).

Streeter is also known for his incredible wit, sense of humor, and baritone bass voice. He will be remembered for his immense contributions in educating and entertaining the younger generation through storytelling and drama.

Before his death, he was also Chief Executive Officer of Ad Media, a local advertising agency in Sierra Leone.
