The wait is finally over. After a strategic one-year hiatus, the most anticipated ranking in Sierra Leone’s entertainment industry has returned—bigger, sharper, and more comprehensive than ever before.
The year 2025 has been a defining era of resilience and global exportation for Salone music. From the outset of the year until now, we have witnessed our sound break new boundaries. From artists dominating international tours to the rise of viral sensations who captured the streets, the competition for the top spot has never been fiercer.

The stage is set. The music has been heard. Here are the exceptional individuals who ruled the year.
Boii – #8
Claiming the #8 spot is the “Credit Alert” queen herself, Boimanya Martha Fahnbulleh Koroma (Boii). If 2024 was the introduction, 2025 was the coronation. Signed to Cribs International, Boii spent the last 12 months proving she is not just a singer, but a full-fledged pop star.
She kicked off her 2025 campaign with momentum from the festive bangers “Love na Scam” and “Feel Alright,” released in late 2024. The visual for “Feel Alright” became a cultural touchstone, surpassing 1 million views on YouTube and keeping her name on everyone’s lips as the year began.
But Boii didn’t coast on past success. She traveled to Nigeria to craft her magnum opus, collaborating with top-tier talent to elevate her sound. The result was the solid 8-track EP “Money or Honey,” released in November 2025. Featuring collaborations with BoyPee and Ramoni, the project was a critical and commercial triumph. The video for “Letter to My Ex” quickly racked up over 500,000 views, proving her visual game is unmatched.

Beyond the studio, Boii became a stage killer in 2025. Whether it was stealing the show at the Housemates Salone Season 4 After Party at Chapter One, delivering an unforgettable guest performance at Drizilik’s concert, or rocking the MA DENGN Beach Festival, she proved she can control any crowd.
For delivering a flawless EP, creating viral moments, and representing the new generation of female excellence on international levels, Boii is the 8th Hottest Artiste in Sierra Leone 2025.
