In the wake of the recent public outcry surrounding the alleged sexual harassment of Anita during the ongoing House of Stars Show, rising Sierra Leonean musician Philip Valcarcel, widely known as Pitwizzy, has taken to his Facebook platform to extend a public apology.

Expressing remorse, Pitwizzy offered apologies to Anita, her management, and the women of Sierra Leone, acknowledging the controversy stemming from an incident captured in a viral video within the House of Stars. The footage showed Pitwizzy attempting to remove Anita’s jeans despite her explicit refusal.

Attempting to clarify his actions, Pitwizzy justified his behavior by citing the alleged victim’s medical conditions. He explained that he never intended to subject Anita to discomfort and, given her asthmatic conditions, wanted to discourage her from sleeping in tight jeans.

The apology statement from reads “I Pitwizzy reads I will like to apologise to Anita, her management, and the Women of Sierra Leone for what happened in the House Of Stars few nights ago.

“It’s not in my character to put my hands on a woman nor force myself on a woman.

“However, Anita once told me she’s asthmatic and because of that – I’d wanted her not to sleep in tight jeans because of health reasons.

“Even though my intentions were not sexually motivated, I’d like to apologise if this comes off as sexual harassment/assault.

“I love Anita and I’ve fallen in love with her over the past couple of weeks. I’ll never do anything to hurt her or make her feel uncomfortable,”
