The management of Red Flag Music (RFM) has released a statement addressing the situation of Alhaji Amadu Bah “Boss La” following a prison break at Pademba Road Prison in Freetown on Sunday morning,
The incident saw Boss La (LAJ) among the prisoners set free by unknown assailants who breached the high-security facility. Red Flag Music’s statement aims to shed light on LAJ’s unintended entanglement in the dramatic escape.
“It’s crucial to emphasize that LAJ is a law-abiding citizen with a strong connection to the community,” the statement reads. The management expressed concern for LAJ’s well-being, stating that circulating videos indicate he, guided by fellow prisoners, had no intention of causing harm during the escape.
Despite the circumstances surrounding his temporary freedom, Red Flag Music remains optimistic about LAJ’s conduct. “The atmosphere within the prison reflects a genuine concern for his well-being. We believe that when the tension subsides, LAJ will voluntarily turn himself in,” the statement asserts.
The document also emphasizes LAJ’s standing as a beloved figure in Sierra Leone, highlighting the unwavering support for him within the community. As the news of the incident spreads, Red Flag Music urges the world to recognize LAJ’s positive impact and contributions to Sierra Leone.
