Sierra Leonean afrobeat and afro-pop sensation, Paul Santigie Mansaray, widely known as Santimans, is gearing up to drop his highly-anticipated album, “NO BAD MIND,” set to hit the airwaves on October 27th, 2023.

This promising album boasts eight compelling tracks, each with its unique flavor and production prowess. The artist has collaborated with some of Sierra Leone’s finest producers, including DJ Alman, Solo’s Beat, Heziko, Wilbert, Moz Beat, and Dankan. DJ Alman, a prominent figure in the music scene, has not only contributed as a producer but has also mixed and mastered all the songs in the album. Santimans, born and raised in Kabala town, Koinadugu district, Northern Sierra Leone, hails from a family deeply rooted in music. His early inspiration came from his elder brother, a gospel singer and music producer. Santimans discovered his own musical talents at the age of ten, composing his songs.

Despite facing initial recording challenges due to the lack of a studio in Kabala town, Santimans persevered, completing his education and recording his first music in 2013. He continued to hone his craft, joining Biko’s studio in 2014-15 and later co-founding Farmland Music in 2016 with fellow musicians.

Over the years, Santimans has released several chart-topping tracks, including “Salone Na We Yone,” which became an anthem for national peace and unity initiatives. His dedication to music has earned him recognition and awards, such as the Radio Bintumani Best of the Best award in 2018 and the Koinadugu and Falaba Achievement Awards in 2021, the FaNEA award and a National Entertainment Awards nomination

Santimans is not only a musician but also a dedicated public servant, contributing to health interventions in Sierra Leone, particularly during the Ebola and COVID-19 crises.

His latest album, “NO BAD MIND,” is poised to make a significant impact, featuring collaborations with DJ Alman, Shauibu, and S.0.5.
