A night filled with glitz, glamour, and continental pride, Ziada Sesay has officially been crowned Miss Teen Africa 2026, Representing Sierra Leone.
The young queen secured the prestigious title during the grand finale held at the Argyle Grand Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya.
The event, which brought together contestants from across the African continent, including South Africa, Nigeria, Uganda, and Ghana, saw Sesay emerge as the standout favorite.
Dressed in a breathtaking lavender ballgown adorned with intricate beadwork, she captivated the judges not only with her poise on the runway but also with her eloquence and vision for youth empowerment.

The victory further marks a “Big Win” for Sierra Leone, as Sesay successfully carried the green, white, and blue flag to the very top of the continental stage. This win follows a rigorous period of preparation and public voting, where Sesay garnered over 12,000 votes from supporters worldwide.
As Miss Teen Africa 2026, Ziada Sesay is expected to embark on a year-long journey of service. Her platform is anticipated to focus on inspiring young African girls to “dream boldly,” a message she championed throughout the competition.
