A leading Commercial Bank in Sierra Leone committed to fostering a healthy and productive work environment for its staff is seeking a dedicated and passionate In-House Medical Doctor or Senior Ward Sister to join our team. We believe that access to quality healthcare is essential for overall well-being of staff and therefore require a qualified practitioner to help us met this objective.

Position Overview

As the In-House Doctor/ Senior Ward Sister, you will provide comprehensive medical care to our employees, ensuring their health and wellness needs are met. You will play a vital role in promoting a healthy workplace, managing health-related concerns, and providing preventive care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine health assessments and physical examinations.
  • Diagnose and treat common medical conditions and injuries.
  • Provided health education and wellness resources to employees.
  • Manage occupational health programs and ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR to address workplace health issues and develop health promotion initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality
  • Respond to medical emergencies as needed.

Qualifications:

In-House Medical Doctor:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Valid medical license to practice in Sierra Leone.
  • Experience in occupational medicine, primary care, or related fields is preferred.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to healthcare.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of clinical experience.

Senior Ward Sister:

  • Registered Nurse with a valid nursing license.
  • Proven track record in delivering high standards of clinical care.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Specialized knowledge and experience in patient care and ward management.
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of clinical experience.
