VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Dr. Kadi A. Sesay Girls Secondary School, Port Loko City
Positions: Principal and Vice Principal
The Board of Governors of Dr. Kadi A. Sesay Girls Secondary School in Port Loko City, in collaboration with the Teaching Service Commission (TSC), is pleased to invite qualified and experienced educators to apply for the esteemed positions of Principal and Vice Principal.
This is an opportunity to lead and shape one of Port Loko’s premier girls’ secondary schools, with a strong emphasis on academic excellence, moral values, and female empowerment.
POSITION 1: PRINCIPAL
Minimum Requirements:
Must be a Sierra Leonean, or a non-Sierra Leonean with a valid work permit, and must participate in the required recruitment process.
Must hold either:
- A Degree in Education, OR
- A Degree plus a Diploma in Education (For Junior Secondary School, the minimum acceptable qualification is an HTC–Secondary)
- Must have at least eight (8) years of post-graduation teaching experience, with four (4) years served as a Senior Teacher and/or Head of Department in a Government or Government-Assisted secondary school.
- Must have foundational Information Technology (IT) skills, including:
- Using a computer (file management, basic applications, internet access)
- Using email and maintaining a professional email address
- Typing and editing documents in MS Word or similar software
- Creating and using spreadsheets with basic formulas (e.g., addition, subtraction)
POSITION 2: VICE PRINCIPAL
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be a Sierra Leonean, or a non-Sierra Leonean with a valid work permit, and must participate in the required recruitment process.
- Must hold either:
- An HTC–Secondary, OR
- A Degree in Education, OR
- A Degree plus a Diploma in Education
