A tragic incident in Allen Town has left the community in shock after a 3-year-old girl was allegedly beaten to death by her guardian.
According to preliminary reports, the child had been under the care of her aunt before being placed in the custody of the accused for additional guidance and supervision. The aunt alleges that the guardian became physically abusive due to the child’s repeated habit of soiling herself and wiping it on her clothes.
It is reported that the child did not die immediately but later succumbed to her injuries after being taken to the pharmacy by the accused’s girlfriend. The girlfriend is said to have corroborated the aunt’s account, stating that the accused was responsible for the fatal beating.
The case is currently under investigation by officers at the Kissy Police Division. Authorities have not yet released the name of the suspect, and further details are expected as the investigation progresses.
