About Eight-Four (84) rubbers of petrol and diesel have been arrested and is in custody of the Kamakwie police station, northern Sierra Leone, according to a police source.

“Two illegal fuel sellers (jebu) expected to face Magistrate Sorie Momoh Sesay of the Kamakwie Magistrate court for keeping and selling fuel in the streets of Kamakwie. They are selling it Le20,000 for liter to the ordinary man,” the source said.
It could be recalled that there was a public outcry over the non-availability of gas in the country. The development has left unnecessary hardship and suffering on ordinary Sierra Leoneans.
